French 9H/10 is a course that builds on the units introduced in French 8 and French 9. In this course, you will learn to communicate in a second language through various classroom and cultural experiences. We will explore themes such as travelling in the French-speaking world, art, music and the future as we learn the course requirements. “Honours Distinction” option is available to all students enrolled in French 9, specifically to those who would like an opportunity to improve their oral and linguistic skills in French through independent studies at an advanced level.

Teaching and learning in this course will focus on the 6 major Core Competencies as per district and
