I picked a storytime book today about the artist Jackson Pollock. The book is called Action Jackson. It was written by Jan Greenberg and Sandra Jordan and illustrated by Robert Andrew Parker. Maybe if you ask very nicely on a nice day, someone in your family might let you try a little splatter painting of your own outside. If you have time to watch a video, this one shows an artist who makes rock sculptures by just balancing rocks. They are incredible.
