Happy Birthday Alexa!

Let’s start by wishing Alexa a big Happy Birthday because tomorrow is her birthday.

In honour of Alexa’s birthday, we have a storytime book called  Ten Rules of the Birthday Wish by Beth Ferry and illustrated by Tom Lichtenstein. Of course, we all wish that we could say Happy Birthday to Alexa in person today but for now we are wishing her a big Happy Birthday from our homes.

To our Division 8 moms and grandmothers, we wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day. For the past two months, you have had to be mom and teacher so THANK YOU and have a great weekend.

Today’s video shows a mother crocodile protecting her babies and getting them safely to the water. Notice, that one of the babies is actually a secret camera.
