Activity: Cardboard creations

1) Together gather any cardboard you can find around the house (e.g. tissue box, toilet paper rolls, egg carton, etc.)

2) Have your child brainstorm any ideas they would like to create and have them write it down

3) Pick one of the ideas and think about the tools and steps needed to create their design (Please use the template provided)

4) Together gather all the necessary tools (e.g. scissors, tape, markers, stickers, etc.)

5) Allow your child to experiment and try to create their cardboard creation

6) When they feel they are ready have them share their creation with your members of the household

8) Reflect with your child how they felt they did and if there are any changes they would like to make

7) When they are ready, have them record themselves using their creation and post it to Freshgrade to share with their peers

*Please keep in mind this is a big activity and may take a couple of weeks to complete depending on the ideas your child has
