Activity 30 Spelling Patterns 2

- When you are finished watching, write down some words that follow these spelling patterns (please don’t use the words from the video)
- Post a photo of the words you thought of
Activity 31 Bake or Cook
- Bake or cook something with your family
- What tools do you use when you have to measure the ingredients for cooking or baking
- Talk about the units we use for measuring ingredients (mL, cups, tbsp, tsp, etc.) compared to units we use for measuring when building (in Canada we use the metric system which includes centimeters, kilometres, meters, etc.)
- Show some of the ingredients you have to measure from the recipe that you are baking or cooking
- What were some of the measurement amounts required in your recipe (1 cup, 1 tsp, 1 banana, etc.)
- Take photos of your cooking or baking process or take a photo of your finished product and post it to Freshgrade
- *Challenge* write down the steps of the recipe in your own words for each of the photos you took
