Activity 7 The Best Part of Me
- Please watch the video of the read aloud of the book The Best Part of Me by Wendy Ewald
- When you have finished listening to the story, please discuss some of the things you notice about the book
- After your discussion think about some of your favourite parts of you and share them with someone
- Pick your favourite thing about yourself and take a photo of it like in the book
- Write a description about why you like that part of yourself (your writing can rhyme, it can use lots of describing words called adjectives, it can make people see a picture in their heads which is called imagery)
- When you are done please post your work
Activity 8 Backyard Nature Scavenger Hunt
- Since the sun is out and the weather has been great, let's get outside!
- Find the different things on the scavenger hunt sheet in your backyard
- Take a photo of some of the things you found and post a picture
