It’s Maker Week! You are all so creative that I know you are going to make some amazing things this week. Please send me pictures and I will post them on the blog each day so everyone can see your creations. Our stories and videos this week are also maker themed.
For storytime, you can listen to Have Fun, Molly Lou Lemon written by Patty Lovell and illustrated by David Catrow. In the story, Molly Lemon learns how great it can be to use your creativity to make your own fun. When I listened to the story, I had a connection to Crispin: The Pig Who Had It All which we have read in the classroom. If you are looking for something to make today, here is a link to a video that teaches you how to make a cotton ball launcher. If you don’t have cotton balls at home, maybe you could launch a ball made out of crumpled paper.
