Have a wonderful and safe summer break!

Goodbye for now!

Thank you for your kind words and for all the hard work that you’ve put in throughout the year. As I said to many parents, you have all developed tech skills along with life skills. You have developed understanding of complicated applications such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and many more. With these platforms, you have all been so good at organizing all the different usernames and passwords. Many of you have also established your own routine that fits your learning and life needs!

I am so proud of you all, and please, feel free to contact me through email if you have some wonderful summer memories to share!

To parents, thank you for being in touch with me. I appreciate all that you have done before spring break and even more of the work that you’ve done after spring break. I wish you nothing but the best, and feel free to email me if you have any questions.

In the meantime, enjoy the summer break, and I hope to be in contact with you soon to let you know where I’ll be!

Wednesday June 24

Thank you for all that you have done this term. I am fortunate to have worked with each and every one of you. Please find yesterday’s slideshow here. Check your @edu.burnabyschools.ca email for the password.

Today you will be picking up your belongings. Please read the following to expect what it will be like.

Please read the information below carefully so that we can all have a smooth transition to summer break.

  1. To pick up progress reports, please knock at ourĀ outside door from 9:00-12:00 or 1:00-3:00. (I eat lunch at 12!)
  2. You will be given a white bag full of your belongings (things from your cubby, your black storage bin by the windows, and your binders) – be prepared to bring this home!
  3. There will be a lost and found table full of things that were randomly round without names. These include projects, clothes, and some school supplies. Have a look before you go home!
  4. Return any books that you have borrowed. (Math textbook, my books, library books, novel study) If these books were in your cubby/storage bin, then you do not have to worry about this. Please see the remaining novel study books below. If your name is on the list, please check for the book at home.
  5. If you have a district laptop, you may keep it until September.
  6. If you borrowed a silver laptop of mine, you must return it to me.

Have a wonderful summer holiday. Have fun, while keeping safety in mind. Thank you everyone for a wonderful year.
