01/25/22 – French – A/The

As we continue with our French this year, we need to know words such as and THE.

In French, it’s a bit more complicated.

Nouns have genders –> either masculine or feminine. 

The word a is un (masc.) or une (fem.)

The word the is le (masc.) or la (fem.) or les (plural, regardless of gender)

Therefore, we must research some words to know their gender before we use them in sentences.
