Poetry Unit 

Due: Thursday April 27

In your assigned groups of 3, you will need to do the following: 

1. Create a PPT teaching the class how to write your assigned type of poem. This means you have to research how to write your poem. 
   1. In this PPT, you will also need to provide at least one example.
2. On YouTube, search up “Animated Short Film” – you will have to show this video to the class, and the class will have to use that short film as their inspiration for their poem
3. On WORD, you will need to create a neat worksheet that your classmates can work on after they’ve watched the video. 
   1. Your worksheet should have the instructions on how to write the poem, in case someone is absent and needs to catch up

 

Use specific terminology in your PowerPoint and Word document: 

Stanza / Couplet / Tercet / Quatrain / Sestet / Rhyme / Rhyme Scheme / Syllable / Line

 

Your Groups for this Project: 

Your group number determines which poem you are going to teach the class. For example, if you are in group 3, you are teaching the QUATRAIN poem.
