UPDATE with ZOOM: The district is reviewing the privacy settings so until we hear back, we will not be planning a ZOOM lesson for this week. There have been issues with security.

You should have received an access code for Freshgrade. Check your junk folder. If not, here is the master list: FreshGrade Student Codes. Search for your name alphabetically from Last Name.

UPDATE re: Freshgrade: There seems to be an overload of people trying to use the app. Freshgrade tech support is dealing with it at the moment. We will try another way to send you the videos in the meantime in case the issue is not resolved today. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the exciting and frustrating world of technology!

Play	Kindergarten students need amples amount of free play. Its how they do their best learning. See here for ideas on what play looks like in a Kindergarten classroom. We typically designate 1 hour per day.
Art	Creation of the calendar; Easter colouring sheets
Outdoor Learning	Play outside, GoNoodle, cosmickids. See links.

Language et l’art	Make your own calendrier! (like the one in our class). A student in our class gave me the great idea to have each of you create your own “Calendrier” for April. It needs to have each day of the week in French, and a pattern (un régularité), Take your time in creating the calendar because you will be using this every day ! If you don’t have much time you can print and color the example I provided or use it as an example to copy: Printable April calendar -I will post a video on Fresh Grade that gives you an example of how to do calendar. If the app doesn’t work, follow this link: Calendar video (it takes 5-10 seconds to load)	What pattern do you want to include? (ex. Rainbow, raindrop, rainbow, raindrop, etc. (A, B, A, B) Or as complicated as you like!
Lettre de la semaine	La lettre de la semaine est « V ». I have included a list of words you can go over with your kids:Lettre de la semaine -V vocabulary list. Throughout the week, try to use these words as you see them around. Look in your house for the words! Add any new words to the list.	Are there any other words in French that start with V? Are there words in English that start with V? What else can I add to the list? Can I find some of these words in my house?

Language Activity with Mme. Marando	Watch Mme. Marando’s lesson on the Chantons song “C’est la fete de Paques.” Follow the link:c’est la fête de pâques lesson. It is about 5 minutes long. It is interactive so parents do not need to help child. Practice and learn song. Send back video of child singing song on Freshgrade! Here are the lyrics: cèest la fete de Pâques Easter Vocabulary lesson: easter vocab lessonRepeat as necessary! Using a piece of paper, have your child create a journal entry using the new vocabulary. Example hereSend photo of journal entry through Freshgrade	Song: Do you know what these words mean? What is the song about? Encourage your child to repeat the vocabulary. Use the examples to help with the journal assignment.
