BOOKS
As teachers, we LOVE books. They help us teach concepts and ideas. Explore emotions and Self. Reinforce art skills, math skills, science etc. Not a day goes by where we don’t use a book for something! Buying books for the classroom can get costly. You can help by participating in scholastic which earns books for our classroom.
Over the holidays, families like to give gifts! While never expected, they are always appreciated. Gift cards to book stores, such as Chapters, Coles are appreciated so we can stock up on books and desk supplies. Amazon is becoming a new favourite for learning resources. I love to receive notes and messages from parents sharing how their child has been enjoying their class thus far! And of course, we do enjoy the occasional coffee and glass of wine 😉
