Translating the Tao Te Ching

Use zhongwen.com to do your word-for-word translation.

The link to the Paul Carus transliteration of the Tao Te Ching can be found by clicking here.  In the menu bar at the top of the window, you’ll see a typeable field that says “1/366.”  If you change the 1 to 157, that will bring you to verse 1.  Use the arrow keys to move forward and backward.  Note: this is a big file, so it can be a little slow to load.
