Today we went outside to observe, investigate and collect fall leaves. We read a non-fiction book about fall and why trees lose their leaves. We looked at the trees, we saw all the leaves collecting around the playground area and each student brought back to class two different leaves. We then compared the leaves and talked about what we noticed. We sorted the leaves by colour and then put them in order from smallest to biggest. Check out some pictures below.
