Division 18 at Gilmore Community School
Today, some Alpha Secondary students came to our class as part of their “walk and lead” leadership program.
They planned and lead a STEM activity and students created “Mr. Motion” out of paper. They played Simon Says with Mr. Motion and then did buddy reading with the big buddies.
It was so fun to have so many extra guests in our class! Leadership will be coming back to do a Science activity with us on January 7th.

Our class had a great time today during our Science workshop. Students did a season sort, learned about thermometers and did temperature checks, made fake snow, and a storm in a jar.
We read another Todd Parr book, “The Peace Book” to start a conversation about what is peaceful to you as we approach Remembrance Day. Students’ illustrations were shared at the assembly and some shared their ideas.
