Division 18 at Gilmore Community School
We had so much fun at the pancake breakfast! Thank you for everyone who helped to make it happen!

Today we did a gingerbread guided drawing activity. Students followed the step-by-step instructions and carefully outlined their drawing with a sharpie. They added their own details and decorations. Then, students used their own set of watercolour paint and with a small brish, carefully painted their gingerbread houses. They look so colourful and unique!

Today, Alpha leadership came to another visit. This time, the big buddies planned a holiday card making activity to give to the Burnaby Neighborhood House.
It was a very hands on activity, good thing we had so many extra helpers!!

This week go counting collections students had the choice to skip count by 2’s or by 10’s. Many students wanted to challenge themselves and count bags with more than 50 items! They did a great job skip counting, some past 100!

What a fun day!
We started with a wet walk for the Jingle Bell walk. It was amazing to see what our community can do. The gym was so busy and the community room was full of donations!
Our class did their part in collecting items and bringing it back to school and after that warmed up with some hot chocolate and cookies.
In the afternoon, we had so much fun skating! It was the first time on the ice for some students and they had a great attitude trying something new! Everyone had fun and many want to go skating again!
Here are some pictures from today:
