For our first few weeks of Kindergarten we will be learning about colours. Each day we will be introducing a new colour. Here is a list of the colours we will be learning about and the day in which your child should try to wear this particular colour. If possible, your child could bring a snack that matches the colour we are learning about (e.g. strawberries for red day, a carrot for orange day etc).

Monday, September 16 – Red day
Tuesday, September 17 – Orange day
Wednesday September 18 – Yellow day
Thursday, September 19 – Green day
Friday, September 20 – Blue and Purple day
Monday, September 23 – Brown day
Tuesday, September 24 – Black day & White
Wednesday, September 25 – Rainbow day – Students wear their favourite colours or a rainbow of colours

Pajama Day & Drop everything and read! Drop Everything and Read!

We rolled out of bed and came to school in our Pajamas on Monday!!  So much fun!!  It was tempting to take naps all day but, we had so much work to do there was just no time for that.  In the afternoon the whole school Dropped Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.). Our class went to the library and joined Ms. Shuster, Ms Keilty and Mrs Fraser’s classes to read books.

Pajamas, Pancakes and Letters from SANTA!

What a great day!  We started by rolling out of bed and coming to school in our PJs! Then we had a delicious pancake breakfast with our Big Buddies.  During our Library time Mrs Fierro dashed in (she was dressed in Elf PJs today).  She had just met an elf in the hallway…he was really short and had come all the way from the North Pole.  He had letters for us and asked if she would deliver them to us.   They were icy cold! We dashed to our Big Buddies and asked them to read our letters to us!

What a day!  Have a look at the slideshow below.
