Bonjour parents!

For the last week or so we have been learning about colours in French in Kindergarten!

In the second verse, I changed the word ‘marron’ for ‘brun’ (they both mean brown but the word brun is more common).

The lyrics are:

Bleu, jaune, rouge et vert, rouge et vert (x2)

Des crayons pour creer un petit monder colore.

Bleu, jaune rouge et vert, rouge et vert.

 

Gris, brun, Orange et rose, orange et rose. (x2)

A great way to practice colours in French is pointing to various colours in the environment: signs, clothes, household objects, in nature etc and asking for the same of the colour in French.

In the next couple weeks your child should be able to identify all the colours in French!
