My Thoughts on Quiet Time

Three days out of the five that are spent in school per week, my class does Quiet Time. Quite Time is a fifteen minute block of time daily that we spend doing whatever we like, quietly. It is a time when you are free to do whatever you want, and in my case it really helps to relieve stress.

During Quiet Time, I like to draw simple sketches on paper, or sometimes I like to read or do unfinished schoolwork. Other times I use the time to just collect my thoughts, and calm down and relax, or I use the time given to me efficiently by doing work that is assigned to me.

Something I like about Quiet Time is that it gives me a bit of time to focus just on myself, and I am allowed to do whatever I want to do during that time. I also like it because it makes me feel more calm, and sometimes I feel like some time in my own personal bubble is just what I need. Even though Quiet Time is only fifteen minutes long, that small amount of time is a much appreciated snippet of my day.

When Quiet Time is in effect, I feel calm, collected and content. I like having the freedom to do whatever I want. I can draw, I can read, I can sit there just looking into space with my thoughts miles and miles away. My only restrictions are that I cannot disturb/interact with others, and that I have to be quiet. To be honest, I quite like that we have to stay in our personal bubbles, because although I don’t like to be alone, sometimes I enjoy having some time to myself, without other people.

I notice that Quiet Time greatly improves my mood throughout the day, since stress is definitely not fun for me, and Quiet Time helps me get rid of some of it. Having a little bit of time to quietly reflect on myself can go a long way with improving my mood!

Overall, Quiet Time is a time of the day that I value and enjoy taking part in. I wish that we got to do it five days out of five. I would recommend it to anyone, and I really enjoy taking part in it.

Quiet Time!

To begin, I think Quiet Time is a really valuable addition to our class schedule. It gives us a chance to relax and relieve stress and, overall feel more improved as a person.

Next, I also think Quiet time is great because, we aren’t forced to do one thing. We are instructed to think about what “we” want to do for Quiet Time. I really think that’s the perfect way to do this because, it gives us the power to understand what helps us relieve stress or makes us feel delighted.

Also, during Quiet Time I will usually either do some work, or draw and, even sleep. The possibilities are endless!

Furthermore, the music is very peaceful I recommend a listen  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J65GxJ2v9Wg

To conclude, I honestly think Quiet Time is just such a powerful addition to our classroom. And I recommend it anyone and everyone who comes across this blog.

Thanks for reading!

Quiet Time

During quiet time I usually set up the song first for quiet time it’s some type of Indian flute song it’s really sounds nice though. We do quiet time for 15 minutes but if we’re behind it’s usually about 10-12 minutes. What I really do in quiet time is usually drawing, reading or folding origami. It’s also fun drawing with my friends. I actually like doing quiet time because first of all we skip 15 minutes of our day and it sort of calms me down. So I feel happy we have quiet time in are class.

Here’s a link to the song Indian flute music

Quiet Time

In quiet time I really like to read and draw. Quiet time helps reduce stress the background music really helps its soft not loud and calming. The only thing I don’t like about quiet time is when I have nothing to do. Quiet time feels nice  your in your own bubble you are free to do whatever you like as long as it’s not loud and noisy. I noticed a lot of people tend to do their work. what does quiet time mean to me?  Being in your own bubble, you can not talk to others even your teacher, and it’s a time to relax from the world.

My Opinion on Quiet Time

I find “Quiet Time” a nice way to calm down my brain, and sometimes relieve the stress out of my body, just like all the negative thoughts coming out of your soul within. Quiet is a nice time to be in your own personal bubble, catch up on unfinished work or just get a quick catnap.

Quiet time is a part of our weekly routine, and as a classroom, aren’t we all stressed once in  a while? What I usually do at Quiet time, I usually read a book, finish unfinished work, or I just sit there like a lump on the bump because that’s who I am!

Quiet time is an activity I will be always looking forward to every Monday to Thursday, (since Friday, we’re busy), I notice that Quiet time has been an important part of our daily schedule, and I’m proud to say that we are the only class in the school who does Quiet time!

I recommend Quiet time to everybody, no matter what age, gender, race, it doesn’t matter, Quiet will really improve your mood for the rest of your day!

What surprised you?

Well, the first time we had quiet time I expected some muttering and some bit of chatting. But no.

Do you have any questions?

Can you change the music?

My thoughts on Quiet Time

I think that “Quiet Time” is a great thing that you should do either daily or weekly because it lets you relax and it makes you forget about all of your negative stress that is on your shoulders. Quiet time gives you a lot of freedom to do whatever you would like to do in a certain amount of time (you could draw, take a quick nap, catch up on homework, read, etc).

Our class does quiet time 3 days a week. We do it on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to make sure that we can have at least 15 minutes to relax and do whatever we would like to do. Our class came up with quiet time about one year ago, we read about what we could do to help someone when they felt stressed, angry, etc. During quiet time, there are some rules. 1. we have to all stay in our personal bubbles until the timer goes off, and 2. We can do whatever we would like to do as long as its appropriate.

During quiet time, I usually read, do unfinished homework that we have, or I would plan what I would have to do later on. I feel really calm during quiet time  because it makes me feel really good.I really recommend people to try out quiet time because it might make you feel really great and calm as well, you should do about 15 to 20 minutes of quiet time daily or weekly, as to your choice.

That is why I think it was a great idea to include quiet time in our daily schedule!
