Doesn’t Make It FREE!

 

Using copyright material in posts leaves you open to copyright infringement which is why it is important to learn what you can use!

 

PHOTOS/IMAGES (FREE & ALLOWED)

Option:  Use photos you took yourself.

Google 

 click on 
  - Images
  - type in what kind of image you are looking for
  - Tools
  - Usage rights
  - Labeled for reuse (choose google images that say this)

 

Images grab your readers attention and encourage them to read your posts.

But you can’t just use any image you like in a blog post.

There are laws!

Learn how to upload photos you’ve taken or created yourself.

 

VIDEOS

The same laws apply to videos and music.

There are two options for using videos in Posts

  • Option 1: Use videos from video sharing websites like YouTubeVimeo, and TED.
  • Option 2: Create your own videos.

YouTubeVimeo, and TED are good websites for finding video resources and their videos can easily be embedded into your posts using their video URL.
