Quiet Time

In quiet time I really like to read and draw. Quiet time helps reduce stress the background music really helps its soft not loud and calming. The only thing I don’t like about quiet time is when I have nothing to do. Quiet time feels nice  your in your own bubble you are free to do whatever you like as long as it’s not loud and noisy. I noticed a lot of people tend to do their work. what does quiet time mean to me?  Being in your own bubble, you can not talk to others even your teacher, and it’s a time to relax from the world.

My Opinion on Quiet Time

I find “Quiet Time” a nice way to calm down my brain, and sometimes relieve the stress out of my body, just like all the negative thoughts coming out of your soul within. Quiet is a nice time to be in your own personal bubble, catch up on unfinished work or just get a quick catnap.

Quiet time is a part of our weekly routine, and as a classroom, aren’t we all stressed once in  a while? What I usually do at Quiet time, I usually read a book, finish unfinished work, or I just sit there like a lump on the bump because that’s who I am!

Quiet time is an activity I will be always looking forward to every Monday to Thursday, (since Friday, we’re busy), I notice that Quiet time has been an important part of our daily schedule, and I’m proud to say that we are the only class in the school who does Quiet time!

I recommend Quiet time to everybody, no matter what age, gender, race, it doesn’t matter, Quiet will really improve your mood for the rest of your day!

My thoughts on Quiet Time

I think that “Quiet Time” is a great thing that you should do either daily or weekly because it lets you relax and it makes you forget about all of your negative stress that is on your shoulders. Quiet time gives you a lot of freedom to do whatever you would like to do in a certain amount of time (you could draw, take a quick nap, catch up on homework, read, etc).

Our class does quiet time 3 days a week. We do it on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to make sure that we can have at least 15 minutes to relax and do whatever we would like to do. Our class came up with quiet time about one year ago, we read about what we could do to help someone when they felt stressed, angry, etc. During quiet time, there are some rules. 1. we have to all stay in our personal bubbles until the timer goes off, and 2. We can do whatever we would like to do as long as its appropriate.

During quiet time, I usually read, do unfinished homework that we have, or I would plan what I would have to do later on. I feel really calm during quiet time  because it makes me feel really good.I really recommend people to try out quiet time because it might make you feel really great and calm as well, you should do about 15 to 20 minutes of quiet time daily or weekly, as to your choice.

That is why I think it was a great idea to include quiet time in our daily schedule!

Thoughts On Quiet Time

Quiet time is something we do 3 times a week in class for 15 minutes while some soothing music is playing.During quiet time you have the freedom to do anything as long as its quiet such as catching up on school work, think, sleep and more.During quiet time you also have to stay silent and you have to stay in your own space and not disturb anyone.

What do I usually do during quiet time?

During quiet time I usually do work that I have to do but sometimes I read when I don’t have any work to do and sometimes I just think during quiet time when I don’t feel like reading and I don’t have any school work I have to do.

What do you like about quiet time and why?

What I like about quiet time is how relaxing it is and it gives us the time we need to do anything we have to do while its quiet for 15 minutes.

What do you feel during quiet time?

I feel calm, relaxed, soothed and stress free during quiet time. Stress is something that can interfere with what ever, like work, school work and more everyday things you have to do and quiet time helps relieve stress so you can do those things without feeling any stress at all.

I think quiet time is a something that all schools should have because of how useful it is. Quiet time is something that actually can relive stress, gives you time to do things you need to do and I definitely recommend quiet time for other schools. Thank you so much for reading about my post about quiet time in our class and I hope you have a wonderful day or night , Goodbye.

My Thoughts on the 10-20 Minutes of Quiet Time

My Thoughts on the 10-20 Minutes of Quiet Time

Kelly Grade 7

Quiet time is a time to relax, to empty your mind of all things negative, a time just for you and yourself only, no one else, not even your teachers :). Don’t let anyone into your personal bubble during the 10-20 minutes of just you.

During Quiet Time all I really do is work on my homework, take short naps, or doodle on the closest things near me, like binders or my hands.I enjoy Quiet time, but it really does suck when you can’t exactly talk to your friends, but its still a great way to relax, catch up on assignments, and have some time for yourself and only you, though I wish instead of having to sit in our hard, uncomfortable chairs we couch lay down on couches, but obviously, not many schools really have the money for 31 couches. Usually during Quiet Time I feel tired from all the stress working on assignments, plus other out of school activities at the same time, other days I feel bored, active, and sometimes even gloomy. I noticed how hard it is not to be able to talk to friends even if it’s the tiniest little thing, but overall I still find a way to communicate with nearby close friends, like passing notes (SORRY!!), but I guess you also start being thankful for the extra free time you have.

On occasions Quiet Time is nothing but school time being wasted, but on other days I thank the Gods for the extra free time to do anything I chose to do (quietly). It is time I use to calm myself down, relax, loosen up, and even catch up on work. I was quite surprised when teachers would actually let their students do whatever they chose to do (quietly) for 10-20 minutes, even to play internet games on computers and iPads! Have our classroom teachers lost their minds!?!?!?!?! IT’S MADNESS!!! IT’S SANITY! IT’S CRAZY! IT’S TRULY UNTHINKABLE!!!!!

I have a few question which are…

Where in the world did we ever get the idea for “Quiet Time”?

Where did the idea of “Quiet Time” come from??

Don’t most people technically already have “Quiet Time” in their lives? So why do we need to be wasting precious learning time at school??

Quiet Time-Jonah

I usually draw and I don’t like how we have to stay in our personal bubble but I do like how we can do anythings that quiet. I feel really peaceful and it helps me stop worrying about stuff. I notice that after people are really sleepy and saggy from how relaxing it is! When I here that its quiet time I feel happy and more relaxed that we can just sit there and do whatever we want that is quiet. I was surprised that I actually liked it because usually I would rather be talking and playing loudly but I never thought I would like it cause it helps me relax! Can we be able to like whisper to people because sometimes its fun to have like drawing contests with your friends.
