10/24/22 – ELA Dialogue and Quotations
Today we covered quotations as we prepare for your 2nd paragraph in our persuasive writing unit which will be about customer testimonials.
Watch the videos to refresh your memory. Remember the steps:
- Identify the speaker tag
- Check if the remaining dialogue makes sense
- Add quotation marks around the dialogue
- Add punctuation to separate the dialogue from the speaker tag
- Keep in mind capitals in the appropriate places
