02/15/22 – Math – Intro to Decimals

Today we related fractions to decimals.

We noticed that the vocabulary that we use for fractions actually helps us with decimals. 2/10 is pronounced – “two tenths”, which, when we are familiar with our updated place value chart, helps with determining the decimal.
