Mittens with our Buddies
We did this activity over two weeks. The first week students created patterns on their mittens. The second week they glued them onto blue construction paper and did a winter scene around it. These are in the hallway by the Office. Some are from our class and some are our buddies’ mittens. Other of our mittens are in the hallway by Mrs. Branco’s room.
The Three Bears … and some of their friends
We had a directed drawing lesson on a bear. Students used pencils, china markers, and oil pastels to create these wonderful pieces of art. They are on the bulletin board outside of our classroom in the hallway.
Goldilocks – Wanted Posters
Last week we studied the fairy tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We discussed the actions of both Goldilocks and those of the bears. We created Wanted Posters for Goldilocks for her crimes of breaking and entering, vandalism, trespass, and theft.
