Today we did counting collections in Math. Students got a bag with random items, organized them and counted the items.

It’s an easy activity to do at home with items in your own house (Lego pieces, paper clips, rocks, pasta, beans, elastics, etc) and muffin tins or ice cube trays to reinforce counting numbers and one-to-one number correspondence.
