Students wrote messages of “kindness” in preparation for Pink Shirt Day which will be next week (Wednesday, February 23rd).
Crafts With Our Buddies!
Each student in the three classes (Divisions 1, 4, and 6) created one piece of the trees 🌲 Some were right side up (the green ones) and some were upside down (the red ones). Thank you to the big buddies for putting these all together. They look amazing!
Terry Fox
We all made shoes which were placed on the walls in the hallways by the Leadership students. We also created Marathon of Hope t-shirts.

Our “FriendSHIP”
During our first week back we rotated through five different classrooms doing lessons with five different teachers. In Mrs. Temple’s class we discussed and created our Friend Ship. It is on the bulletin board on the wall outside our classroom. A big thank you to the Grade Sevens who made the base ship and added on our sailor hats.
Pink Shirt Day
We had great discussions on differences, enjoyed this story, and made pink t-shirts with excellent sayings on them. They have been hanging in our windows.
100’s Day Fun
Directed Drawing – Dragons
On Tuesdays each week we have a directed drawing lesson. As it will be Lunar New Year this coming Friday, our lesson this Tuesday was a dragon.
The students did such a great job that they needed to be on display! They are on the bulletin board in the hallway between our classroom and the Office.
Remembrance Day
Our class created poppies from construction paper which were attached to a frame to form our wreath for today’s assembly. It looks lovely! We enjoyed the wonderful and touching assembly put on by Ms. Branco’s class. Well done, Division 3! I hope some of you were able to watch it via Zoom.
