A very cold package was delivered to us at school this afternoon! Inside the package was a letter from Admiral Drake explaining about the penguin (in the package).

The penguin’s name is Pringle.  She arrived with a journal and a copy of Mr. Popper’s Penguins, written by Florence Atwater.

Pringle will be visiting each student’s home, with the journal, so they can make an entry about their experiences with Pringle.  Students will share their entries each morning at Calendar time.
