Through our discussions around Orange Shirt Day, and learning about residential schools, students created their own personalized t-shirts. These were meant to depict themselves and things that are important to them.

Yertle, the Turtle – and a few friends
As part of our unit on Dr. Seuss we looked at a variety of real turtle shells online. Students then created and designed their own turtle shells (top and bottom) out of paper plates. These turtles are now gracing our bulletin board in our classroom.
