DEAR DIVISION 8

In February, we learned about self-affirmations.  We discussed how hard it can be to remember all of our wonderful, positive qualities when we are feeling down.   On Valentine’s Day we didn’t write Valentine’s Day cards for others, we wrote them for ourselves. We put our self-affirmations on the front of our lockers, or inside our lockers, as a positive reminder to see every day.

Just in case you forgot, self-affirmations begin with “I am ” and you can chose a positive word that describes you, such as I am peaceful.

While we are unable to be together as community right now, it is really important to me that you remember your self-affirmations and believe them.  Remember that I believe them, too.

Dear Division 8,

You are AMAZING

You are KIND

You are CREATIVE

You are SMART

You are LOVING

WELCOME TO OUR CLASS BLOG, DIVISION 8!

I’m so glad you are here, I’ve missed you!

It has been so nice to talk with you and hear your voices.

So many things have changed since we last saw each other. Before Spring Break we talked about what school would be like when we got back: you would be in the same class and I would still be your teacher. Even though we haven’t been able to go back to school the way we used to, those things have not changed. You are still in the same class and I am still your teacher.

I hope you and your families are taking good care,

-Mrs. Postulo
