Term 3
During Grade Sixes two classes of music a week, they have:
Students from Div 1 and 2 (Grade 6’s and Grade 7’s not in Band) attend Music for one hundred minutes a week with Mrs Nordstrand. In Term 3 we focused on the Element of Music – Tempo and playing the Guitar. Students experienced Music through discussion, videos, movement, listening, playing and singing.
Studying the Guitar students have learned to strum and play different chords. They had to learn to have the correct formation but also have the correct tension in order for the strings ring.

Term 2
During Grade Sixes two classes of music a week, they have:
· Developed and refined ideas and technical skills to learn bucket drumming.
· Reflected on creative processes as an individual and make connections to other experiences.
