Grade Ones
The main character is the person or animal that story is about. Duck is the main character in this book. What makes Duck a good character?
We are going to start story writing. You will be writing your own story and it can be about anything. Before we write the story, we need to plan certain parts of the story. Today the focus will be planning your main character. Here are some questions you need to think about and answer:
- Is your character a person or animal?
- What makes your character special?
- What is your character’s name?
- What adventures will your character go on?
- What does your character like or dislike?
Write down the answers to these questions and any other ideas about your main character. Please draw a picture of your character and email your work when it is completed.
Kindergartens follow along with the song that reviews the sounds that letters in the alphabet make.
Grade One- Parents choose 10 words from the spelling list. Say the word and have your child write it down. This was a short week if you need extra time to review your words, you can do the quiz over the weekend. Please email the quiz when completed.
Read on Lexia for 15 minutes.
Have a wonderful weekend! 😊
