The 5 Ground Rules

Before Peer Mediation can begin, there are five rules that you must agree to follow:

Rule #1.   Do you agree to work hard to solve your conflict?

Rule #2.   Do you agree that only one person talks at a time?

Rule #3.   Do you agree to tell the truth?

Rule #4.   Do you agree to show respect for each other (no physical fighting, no yelling, no throwing, and no name-calling)?  If any of this happens, the mediation must be stopped!

Rule #5.   Do you agree to do what you say you will do?
