We Walk For Water 2019
https://www.we.org/we-schools/program/campaigns/we-walk-for-water/
We helped turn clean water on for people around the world.
Clean water is the fastest way to change a life. When communities gain access to clean water, young girls can go to school, and the health of the entire community improves. You can help create this ripple effect of change. Walk, fundraise, or donate and turn clean water on!
Awesome grade 7 students in Me to We walked for water with milk jugs or pails. The event happened on a sunny, hot Thursday of May 23rd, 2019 during their lunchtime. Each of them committed to collecting $25 in pledges. Twenty-five dollars gives one person water for life.
- I am proud of this because…
- Something new that I learned and understand better…
- My biggest challenge was…
- I still have questions and uncertainties about…
- How much money did you raise towards your goal of $25?
- Why are you grateful for access to clean water? How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water?
- How will your actions create an impact in developing communities around the world?
1. I carried water like the Africans.
2. Is that dirty water causes fatal diseases
3. To carry water
4. I still have questions and uncertainties about water.
5. None
6. I am grateful because I don’t have to walk far for water. My life would be different because I would have to walk far for water.
7. By carrying water like the people in third world countries.
Please take time to add more details. For example, what are the questions you have about water? How would walking for water change your life? In what way exactly?
If I were one of those people walking for dirty water, I would be really tired and exhausted just walking for water that could kill me. I have only some questions about water. Why can’t we just give them water for free? Why won’t the government approve of just simply helping? Isn’t Canada or some other wealthy countries rich enough to provide simple clean water?
Your questions are important, Laurence, and I’m pleased you posted them. Why can’t their own country solve the water crisis? Who else is helping, by how much, and why isn’t it enough? Isn’t clean water a basic human right!
1. I am proud of this because we are raising awareness and the little kids even helped.
2. Something new that I learned and understand better was that you could get 4 or more diseases from drinking dirty water and millions of people die every year from that.
3. My biggest challenge was running with 2 jugs because the more laps I ran, the heavier it felt so I just ended up carrying 1 jug, I was also starting to sweat a lot because it was pretty hot so I wanted to go home and take a bath, although when I got home, my back had hurt a lot so that makes me even more sad because people in third world countries have to carry MORE water everyday.
4. I still have questions why it’s just mostly girls/women carrying water and not boys.
5. I raised $15 but i’m going to try to raise more.
6. I am grateful for access to clean water because I wouldn’t have to walk miles to get dirty water and possibly get sick. I would probably end up not going to school and I would most likely get diseases that are life threatening.
7. Our actions could create an impact by raising awareness because more people would know about it and if they aren’t in Me to We, they could donate to Me to We or donate to other charities.
I agree. It was really nice to see the kids participate!
I am proud of this because I did 12 laps around the school on a sunny day to go to a great cause like greatly benefiting people who need water in underdeveloped countries.
Something new I learned from this experience is that mainly women carry the heavy jugs of water for hours on end, multiple times a day. I thought that both genders took part in that grueling water walk, but now after learning about this I now see that only women carry the water.
My biggest challenge was trying to walk 15 laps at the Central Walk for Water. Their track was huge and it was very hot out. But when I think about it, I know that women do this every day with much heavier jugs of water. I don’t know if I could find the will to do that every day, but they have to do it for their survival.
I still have questions such as, about how long does it take to construct a well in a community? What if that certain community doesn’t have a source of water underneath the village? This problem probably has never come up while WE Villages has been drilling wells, but it could happen someday.
I raised $20 dollars for Me to We. I thought that the unanimous goal for the class would be $20 but apparently, it was $25. But at least I raised money for a good cause.
I’m grateful I live in a country like Canada. I could imagine in the middle of a hot and humid summer day and not having access to clean water., only hot and muddy water. I could imagine wanting to bathe but not having any water to do so. It’s a sad reality that some people in the world have to endure this every day.
I feel that my actions like donating money and walking for water have impacted at least one person in need. It may be a small impact, but when you put into perspective all the people who have come together to raise money, you can see the giant impact on people in need.
1. I’m proud of this because we had the chance to show everyone what people in 3rd world countries have to do every day.
2. When I was young I didn’t know what people in developing countries have to go through every day and because of Me to We I now know that their lives are way harder than ours and we should be grateful for what we have
3. I didn’t have one. I enjoyed every step of the way
4. How come they can’t boil the water to kill all the bad stuff in the water?
5. I didn’t have the time to raise that much money but I put in 50$ myself and I was too nervous to ask my dad to put in money. Thinking about it I could’ve asked one of my friends to give me some money but I just forgot that part.
6. I’m grateful for clean water because when I was growing up we didn’t filtered our clean water until I went to Canada tho I didn’t know anything about that sort of thing at the time.
7. Our actions will impact not only developing communities and countries but also future generations. We taught them why clean water is important. We even had kids from other grades walking right beside us.
1=I carried dirty water like African ladies women.
2=I learned that most of the children in Africa don’t get to go to school. 43% of children drink dirty water and 4,000 children die every day from a lack of safe water (source is UNICEF)
3=My biggest challenge was to collect a container to hold water.
4=I still have questions and uncertainties about how do African’s drink that dirty water.
5=I couldn’t raise any money because no one wanted to give me money.
6=I am grateful cause I don’t have to walk for clean water. My life was going to differ because I would not have clean water 24/7.
7= By taking part in We Walk for Water.
Super cool comment!
Why did you choose to focus only on Africans? there are other countries that need help too.
right?
I am proud of this because…
I get to help others. I get a small feeling of what people have to go through in places like Ethiopia and rural African country.
Something new that I learned and understand better…
What women and girls have to go through to get water 3 or 4 times a day, we can just walk to the tap and BOOM clean water. The people in these countries don’t even get clean water.
My biggest challenge was…
Trying to carry the full bucket. Later on, I got a half-full bucket.
I still have questions and uncertainties about…
I don’t have questions because of Miss Smith taught the class well on this topic. And I watched a lot of videos.
How much money did you raise towards your goal of $25
I raised 25$ but it is at my dad’s house so I can’t hand it in on time.
Why are you grateful for access to clean water? How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water?
I’m grateful because I don’t need to worry about water-born diseases.
How will your actions create an impact on developing communities around the world?
The money we raise can give people in developing countries clean water for life or well for the whole village.
1.I am proud of this because…
2.Something new that I learned and understand better…
3.My biggest challenge was…
4.I still have questions and uncertainties about…
5.How much money did you raise towards your goal of $25
6.Why are you grateful for access to clean water? How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water?
7.How will your actions create an impact in developing communities around the world?
1=all the laps i did(15)and I was an influence to all the kids around me. I don’t know how much people joined but all I know is that a lot of people did.
2=is how tiring carrying water is. plus they need to walk 7 km average (that’s what i heard on the p.a. this morning).
3=probably to carry the water, cause i held 2 milk jugs full of water for the whole time witch was slightly tiring.
4=how the moneys gonna end up making a change to the people.
5=i raised 20 dollars.
6=i am grateful cause i can have hot or cold showers. i can also have clean and filtered water, and water is necessary in life.
7=i would probably be like, really thirsty oh and by the way, the more energy you use the more dehydrated or hungry you become, but off topic. i would be really! thirsty, and really like…dirty cause how am i so-posed to shower or brush my teeth.
8=well our school Douglas Road came together. Each class is gonna raise 25 dollars and every 25 dollars give 1 person clean water for life.
I am proud to be a part in We Walk For Water because I got to raise awareness about what women and children in third world countries have to do every day, just to get water that isn’t even safe to drink. I knew that the people who drink the contaminated water get sick, but I didn’t really know what the diseases were. Now I understand what diseases they get from the dirty water. My biggest challenge was probably my hands starting to hurt while I was carrying the milk jugs. I still have a few questions about how long the contaminated water lasts for and how long it takes for them to collect the water. I ended up raising $25 exactly. I am beyond grateful to have access to clean water because I wouldn’t be able to be as healthy and not get any of these water-related diseases. It would be way different if I didn’t have access to clean water. I wouldn’t have an education and I would be exhausted from all the water I need to carry for my family and I to survive. I really hope we could raise over $100 dollars to help the people in need to have access to clean water. Me To We has helped the people in third world countries by raising over $25 and doing We Walk For Water to see what it’s like for the people. Every $25 donated will give one person clean water for life.
I am proud of this because it means I get to donate money to Me To We and help people in third world countries to get clean and healthy water which means that they can have a lower chance of guinea worm, gonorrhea, etc.
Something new that I learned and understand better is that an African woman holds 40 pounds of water on her head which is very heavy to hold and they even have to carry the jug of water for hours that’s something I could never see myself ever do and when they carry that jug of 40 pounds of water for a long time it’s less likely to even be clean water.
My biggest challenge was probably trying to hold a milk jug of water in my hands for the whole lunchtime and ended up getting really sore hands, but I wouldn’t even consider as a challenge compared to what millions of African women have to go through each day carrying a bigger and much heavier jug of water in their hands for a way longer time.
I still have uncertainties about how I’m going to donate my money but I will make sure to tell my mom about how much money she will pay me for each lap so she can understand what I was willing to do to donate money towards Me To We.
My mom originally paid 60 dollars but then I was offered to put that money in relation to camp but I will try to ask my mom about the money and she will probably help donate.
I am so grateful for my access to clean and fresh water from the tap and I am so grateful to have such a lovely source and like my friend once told me how easy it is us to get water with just a twist of a faucet but then some people water is something to walk hours and hours for. If I were to not have access to clean water I would probably sadly have a hard time staying alive and suffer from terrible diseases and soon die.
I believe that my actions towards Me To We would hopefully help a good portion of people to live a happy and healthy life by gaining access to clean, free from dirt water and hopefully have a well filled with water near them so girls can more likely go to school and have an education, So I hope my “little difference” to what I’m doing here can make a huge difference for thousands of people somewhere in the world and give them a positive impact on their lives.
1. I am proud of this because it was a great experiences and I am so glad that i did this.
2. Something that I learned is how heavy the water jugs are and they have to walk miles to bring it back to their home.
3. My biggest challenge was my arms started to hurt and they are still in pain.
4. I don’t have a questions I understand it now.
5. I raised $20.
6. I am grateful for clean water because I don’t have to worry about getting a virus and I feel really bad that some Countries don’t have clean water and they have to take the risk of getting a virus.
7. The money that we raise at our school will help people around the world will get clean water for life if we raise $25.
1.I am proud of this because…
I am proud of this because we help the people in the world who don’t have the opportunities that we have to clean and accessible water. We show that we are not only thinking about ourselves but others around the world. It is amazing us grade sevens can impact the world and make a change just by raising and donating money for clean water.
2. Something new that I learned and understand better is…
Something new that I learned and understand better is that there are so many diseases that do the same thing and has the same outcome. That outcome is people are dying because they don’t have access to clean for example Ethiopia. Ethiopia does not have access to clean water and there people are dying because of this. Cholera is a waterborne disease caused by drinking contaminated water and this disease can kill up to 3.4 million deaths each year.
3. My biggest challenge was…
My biggest challenge was probably carrying the water jugs in my hand. Once you carry the jug for a long time your arms become sore and numb. You had to at least do 15 laps around the school and that was big challenge to face. After all of that I was sweating and I was tired. I fell asleep in class and basically miss half of the school day.
4. I still have questions and uncertainties…
Nothing
5. How much money did you raise towards your goal of $25
I raised $0 because I didn’t get any pledges because I didn’t know about it.
6. Why are you grateful to access to clean water
I am grateful to clean water because I can be healthy, and stay alive. I can also stay away from bad diseases. Clean water keeps you hydrated and it’s also a weight loser to so you can lose weight easily.
7. How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water?
My life would have a big impact if I didn’t have clean water because my life would be at risk. It would raise a higher percentage of me getting diseases from contaminated water.
8. How will your actions create an impact on developing communities around the world? It will create an impact by helping people having access to clean water and not only lowering the percentage but everybody could live in peace and make our population to grow bigger.
lots of diseases.
Me too. I made $0 but, I will donate to Me to We with my Entrepreneur Money.
I got $100 for pledges, and donating $4 from young entrepreneur.
if you had known about the pledges how much do you think you’ve made and if you were living in a developing community what experiences would you have?
I wasn’t available to make it because I had to monitor the little kids and after I stayed with Bianca, but I did participate in Central Highschool.
1: People are spreading awareness around the world to help people in need of clean and healthy water.
2: The people with clean water is lucky were those people with unclean water have to use them and get sick or have diseases. In the next decades, clean water will be much inaccessible to many thousands or millions of people.
3: My biggest challenge was it was very hot. I was sweating a lot. That’s my only challenge.
4: I do not have any questions or uncertainties.
5: I do not attend Me To We so I did not have a pledge form to raise funds.
6: I am very grateful to have access to clean water because I don’t wanna walk every day just to get clean water that is too enervating and stressful.
7: It will show awareness to people to at least donate some money to the people who do not have access to what we have.
Same thing homie.
At least you got to go to Central for We Walk for Water.
That`s Nice of you to stay with Bianca. 😏
It was very hot so agree with you in that.
I raised $100.
Same I don`t want to walk every day with a HUGE water bucket on my head! 😓
1) I’m proud of this because now I know how women and girls in other parts of the world feel. I’m proud that I can say I go to school every day and don’t have to walk hours to get clean water.
2) Something new I learned was that I can’t take the things I have for granted. That girls my age have to go get water and then go to school.
3) My biggest challenge was holding the water jugs. My hands got red after I can’t believe girls my age walk for hours on end just to get water for their families when I can get my water from my house tap.
4) I want to know how the people that got clean water for life are doing. What’s their home life like, school life.
5) I’m not in Me to We so I’m not sure.
6) I’m grateful for clean water because I don’t have to walk for hours on end. I can go to school and not go to get jugs of clean water everyday. All I have to do to get clean water is walk to my kitchen and turn on the tap. I’m very grateful to live in Canada.
7) The money that we raised at school will help communities around the world get clean water. Every $25 donated will give someone clean water for life.
Yes now I know how it feels. Well now WE know how it feels. 😉

I am proud of this because…
I am helping people in different countries, by just walking and telling people what I am doing. I think I am doing a great deal by doing WE WALK FOR WATER!
Something new that I learned and understand better…
I noticed even carrying one milk jug was somewhat heavy imagine carrying almost 5 times that amount and not just going once a day but 2-3 times a day! 😡
My biggest challenge was…
When I was Run/Walk/Jogging there was a lot of kids that were grabbing a lot at my water bucket and getting in my path. So I had to go around them in the sun, which was hot.
I still have questions and uncertainties about…
How do the ME TO WE find water to give to the countries? Do they build pipes from other countries? Do they get it from underground?
How much money did you raise towards your goal of $25.
I raised $100. Each person gave me $20 each.
Why are you grateful for access to clean water?
Because then I get an education. I won’t Have a fear that I might dye from the ONLY water I have. My family isn’t dying. I will feel safe.😅 (I won’t feel like a water monster is after me👹 👺)
How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water?
I would probably get sick every other day. I wouldn’t have an education.
How will your actions create an impact in developing communities around the world?
I am already donating at least $4 from my young entreperneur. I might still donate MORE!
1. I am proud of this because…
I am proud of this because, last year I wanted to do We Walk for Water, but I didn’t know how to join We Walk for Water. It was fun doing the We Walk for Water this year.
2. Something new that I learned and understand better…
Something new that I learned and understand better is that, people in 3rd World Countries are drinking water that contain Nasty Diseases such as, Guinea worms, Typhoid, Dysentery, and more!
3. My biggest challenge was…
My biggest challenge was, walking around with a water jug, and handing in pledges to Me to We. Walking around with a water jug isn’t one of my greatest strengths but, at least I know how challenging it feels to hold water jugs while walking. I don’t really like asking money from my Parents. I don’t know why, I just don’t like it.
4. I still have questions and uncertainties about…
I still have questions and uncertainties about, How much Diseases are there in Dirty Water? How many people have accesses to Clean Water in the world? How many People in the world got help from Me to We?
5. How much money did you raise towards your goal of $25?
I haven’t made any Money but, I will donate lots of money to the empty Bottles in our Classroom.
6. Why are you grateful for access to clean water? How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water?
I am grateful that I have access to Clean Water because, I would never drink water like that even if I am so thirsty, I would never ever drink dirty water, never! My life would be different because, I wouldn’t be as healthy as now, Clean Water has no chances of dying but, Dirty Water has many Diseases that can lead to Death!
7. How will your actions create an impact in developing communities around the world?
Actions always have an impact. My actions of donating can help someone have clean water for life. That can impact someones life forever! I want someone to have a life like me, Clean Water for life. I want that.
I am proud of this because I got to walk for water this year. though I was not able to do it last year because I had to donate $5 to show support as well as walking with the water jugs (that I wanted to do but had no money on me). Something new that I learned and understand better was people in developed countries are still in need and have suffered without clean drinking water and are forced to walk hours in the heat just for a portion of water to last one day.
I now understand the meaning of We Walk For Water from the videos and a book that I read about called “Free The Children” by Craig Kielburgur (the founder of Free The Children and CEO of Me To We). My biggest challenge was carrying the jugs for a long time because at some point you can lose a grip and can be tricky but eventually, I overcame it and was easier after. One thing funny about the We Walk For Water was that after the event, we dumped the water in the flowers and trees to grow; there was a pale full of water so some of us decided to dump our heads inside it because it was really hot. We got cooled down and started splashing each other which was fun, I got the wettest though I didn’t care much.
I still have questions and uncertainties about the dirty water in the developing countries and how we can help them get clean water without the water wells? How much money did you raise towards your goal of $25? I raised about $10 from my mom only because I didn’t really think about it. 🙁 Why are you grateful for access to clean water? How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water? I am grateful for clean water because it would be difficult to get water that is safe and to stay healthy and hydrated is tough without easy access.
I am grateful for clean considering we are in a safe country and have easy, clean drinking water. How will your actions create an impact on developing communities around the world? to spread awareness and impact others in the community by showing that it is a huge problem for the developing countries and the republic countries for being unaware of this problem. we need to think through this and help each other along this journey.
I was proud of this because we are raising money even though we are still 12-13 years old.
I learned that how people that doesn’t have clean water like us has to do their best to get water even if it’s not clean. I understand how tiring it is for them to walk for miles.
My biggest challenge was that it was very tiring to walk for laps around the school. I fell asleep in recess because i was really tired. Also I was sweating and it was really hot because it was very sunny.
I still have questions and uncertainties about why are boys in school and the girls have to go to get water every single day.
I raised $40 which is over $25.
I am grateful that I have access to clean water because I don’t have to go and walk for a long way to get water and having high risks of getting diseases like guinea worm, typhoid, cholera, and diarrhea.
I impact communities because I am in Me To We which is a group where we help people without the important things that we have but they don’t.
1. I am considerably proud of this because I get a chance to help other people in other countries who don’t have the right to clean water. Another reason I am proud of this because it’s marvelous to know that I am a part of something that helps people through their lives and making it better.
Something new that I learned and understand better…
2. Something new that I learned and understand better is that some people aren’t born the same way as to say you and I. People who are born in places like Ethiopia where clean water is scarce. For this reason, some boys and girls can’t get an education since they have to walk an average of 6 kilometers a day to get water that isn’t even clean. Another thing that I learned was that people who drink water can get many diseases like Diarrhea, Cholera, Guinea worm, Typhoid, and Dysentery.
3. My biggest challenge was carrying was being able to carry 2 jugs of water around the school. When I was carrying it around I started to feel weak on the 3 laps which, got better after the 5th lap since my arms and hands started getting numb so I couldn’t really feel anything. Another big challenge I had was trying to find enough bottles to spread the word of We Walk for Water since we had to go dumpster diving.
4. I still have questions and uncertainties about…
When will the world solve it’s clean water crisis since it has gotten so bad that the organization Me to We had to take the lead and not the Ethiopian government? Another question I have is how much money would it take to solve the entire water crisis in Africa?
5. I raised $13 dollars from each of one of my parents which all adds up to 26 dollars that will go to Me to We. But, I tried to raise more money but I couldn’t find anyone who is willing to pledge any money.
6. I am grateful for my access to clean water because I can simply go to my house kitchen, turn on the tap and instantly get clean water while kids in Africa have to walk an average of 6 kilometers just to get a few liters of dirty water. Another reason why I am grateful for my access to clean water because I don’t have to walk for water every day. Since I don’t have to walk I am able to go to school and get an education.
7. How would your life be different if you didn’t have access to clean water?
If I didn’t have clean water I would’ve probably had to walk a very long way to get clean water and I probably would have not gone to school since my entire day plan would have been walking to get clean water. Another thing that would have to happen if I didn’t have clean water is that I would have been very sick very often.
8. How will your actions create an impact on developing communities around the world?
My actions would have made an impact on the communities around the world by spreading the word. Since I walked around my school to spread the word of people in Africa not having clean water, the people from my school will tell other people they know. The people they tell will tell other people, so on… Since more people know about other countries having dirty water the more money will be donated to people around the world for clean water. All of this just because their classes of grade 7 are running around their school.
1. I am proud of this because…
I believe I did a pretty decent job of walking around the school with milk jugs. I did twelve laps around the school during lunch time. Some people did a very large amount of laps, some people even did 20 laps. I think we also did a good job of fundraising and spreading awareness about people in different countries that aren’t as fortunate as us. These people have to drink dirty contaminated water just to survive. Even drinking the water can cause them to get serious illnesses. I think we did a pretty effective job on spreading awareness about these problems.
2. Something new that I learned and understand better…
I learned more about the diseases you can get from drinking dirty water. You can get diseases such as Cholera, Dysentery, Diarrhea, Guinea Worm, and Typhoid. I also learned that water related diseases can cause 3.4 million people to die each year. This was very shocking for me. I also learned that girls in other and less fortunate countries have to take long trips almost every day that is miles away, on foot, and under the blazing sun just to get dirty water. Since girls have to go on long journeys to get water for their families, they don’t have the time to go to school. I was able to somewhat experience what it’s like to take these long journeys by carrying water jugs and walking around the school with the sun’s rays pouring down on us. I was able to learn a lot about water diseases and people in other countries that aren’t as fortunate as us.
3. My Biggest Challenge Is…
My biggest challenge was walking around the school with water jugs. It was quite hot and the jugs were a bit heavier than I expected. I carried two jugs in the beginning, but after about five laps. I gave my water jug to someone who wanted to participate in the We Walk For Water Event. It was hard to carry the jugs because after awhile, my hands started to hurt a bit and it was a challenge to keep my grip on the jugs. I was sweating quite a bit after the event, but I managed to get through the event with twelve laps. That was the most challenging part for me due to my unathletic skills and small amount of stamina.
4. I Still Have Questions And Uncertainties About…
How will Me to We get the clean water to the villages that need the clean water? Will they use pipes? Will they have a well? Or is it just a tap? How will they fix the method of getting the water to the villages if the method breaks? E.g. if they use the pipe, what if it breaks they have to drink dirty water again? How will they evenly distribute all the water to all the people? Where will all the clean water come from? Will people take turns using the water, or will they all just use the water at the same time? Does the $25 in all schools pay for the method of getting the water there, or does it just cover the cost of the clean water? What if there isn’t enough money to get villages clean water after the method of getting the water is built and there is just a method of getting the water there, but there’s no water. Maybe these question are dumb and I have a lot of questions but that’s just what I’m wondering about.
5. How Much Money Did You Raise Towards Your Goal Of $25?
I raised $25 to my goal, which is the exact amount I needed towards my goal. I asked my dad to give me 2 dollars for every lap I did, which I did 12 laps. I got $24 from my dad and I donated $1 towards my goal. I’m not sure if that dollar counts, but It’s all going towards the same goal so I think it should count. I should of asked other people to donate towards my goal, but I was too nervous to ask other people to donate money because I’m very socially awkward.
6. Why Are You Grateful For Access To Clean Water? How Would Your Life Be Different If You Didn’t Have Access To Clean Water?
I am very grateful for access to clean water because without clean water, we wouldn’t be able to do many things such as, take showers, drink water whenever we wanted to, survive the heat without much water, possibly suffer from many diseases from drinking dirty water, suffer side effects from lack of water such as headaches, digestive problems, aching joints, and more. A lot of people take water for granted and never really think about what life would be like if you didn’t have water. Some countries have an abundant amount of water, therefore most people do not need to worry about not being able to have a cup of water the next day or not being able to bathe themselves. Lots of people in different countries have to worry about these types of water related problems. Being able to live life with all these problems is probably VERY challenging, and it would also be challenging if I had to adapt to a lifestyle like this.
7. How will your actions create an impact in developing communities around the world?
By walking around the school with dirty water jugs and talking about it on the morning announcements, we are spreading awareness about the fact that women in other countries are walking miles and miles just to get dirty water to drink that could get them dirty water related diseases. Their families have to drink this water because they do not have access to clean water. We also are doing fundraisers to help villages in other countries get clean water. $25 dollars give one person clean water for life. By spreading the word and fundraising, we are helping communities around the world that need clean water.
1. I am proud of this because I helped kids around the world, and seen how they feel when they have to carry water.
