We had a surprise early arrival today! Theses beautiful creatures were supposed to arrive next week but I guess they just couldn’t wait! We now are the proud caretakers of Painted Lady caterpillars! Over the next month we will be observing and taking care of these lovely animals, what an exciting way to end our week!
I was so proud of my little “chickens” today! They had our seniors laughing and clapping along with us, they did a wonderful job.
Next week I will be sending home a flyer for Scholastic Book orders! With summer fast approaching, this is a wonderful opportunity to purchase some high quality books to enjoy through the end of the year, over the summer and support our class as well. After you pick and order your books online they will be shipped to the school for free! (or they can be shipped directly to your home for a fee). The best part is 20% of the total is returned to our class as reward money that I can spend on buying new books and materials for everyone to share!
