Our Last Week!

Here we are, the final count down…

It has been such a wonderful week! I’m sure the kids are exhausted from all of the amazing things we have been up to!

The first thing we need to recognize is the school play! The students and staff have worked so hard over the last month to pull this all together. It was so wonderful to see everyone there to cheer them on! I am unable to post any pictures here because there are students from other classes in the photos but I might have seen a parent or two with their cameras out capturing the action 😉

Sadly, I’m not great at taking pictures at all of the different events we have had this week but here are a few that I have!

It was perfect weather for our field trip to Edmonds park on Thursday! Thank you again all of the wonderful parents who came along to help and enjoy the day!

Today we had a wonderful (and messy!) time making Oobleck! The name comes from the Dr, Seuss book Bartholomew and the Oobleck, but the actual science is a mix of cornstarch and water to make a non-newtonian fluid! The students were very excited to bring a small bag of Oobleck home! Ask your child to explain all of the things they have learnt today.

On Monday, please send your child to school with a STRONG bag so that we can start packing up all of our belongings. Since plastic bags are no longer readily available, I wont have many extra bags available.
