Count Down To Sports Day!

Hello!

I hope you are all staying cool and comfortable this weekend!

Our caterpillars are getting HUGE! Last week we started learning about the life cycle of the butterfly and I think it was a good idea because we could be moving on to the stage of life soon! We moved them into their enclosure this week and they seem happy to have space to move around. This also give us more space to observe them, however, I can’t imaging what it is like for them to look out of the glass and see this! 🙂

 

Friday is sports day and it looks like it is going to be hot and sunny! The team colours are red, blue, green, and white. To get us geared up and excited about sports day,  each day of the week we are wearing one of each of the colours.  Monday is blue,  Tuesday is red,  Wednesday is green, and Thursday is white! Remember that Friday is an early dismissal at 1:30 and parents are welcome to join us for the day! The PAC will also be running a concession stand if you or your children are interested.

Don’t forget! Scholastic book orders are due on Thursday! If you need any help or have any questions feel free to contact me!

Tuesday	-wear Red -Music with Mr. TDS -working on our personal narrative: time to flush out the beginning of our story!
Wednesday	-wear Green -Gym with Mr. Lim -talk about metamorphosis -introduce “vowel teams” – ai
Thursday	-wear white –Scholastic book orders due! -Music with Mr. TDS -Please return library books -vowel team -ay -lets play some math games! -Happy birthday Jessica!
Friday	SPORTS DAY! -wear your team colours -pizza day if you ordered -concession stand available -parents welcome -EARLY DISMISSAL AT 1:30
