Hello Everyone !
What a beautiful day! To say it felt like summer is an understatement. It ended up being the perfect day for Freezies, it was a huge hit!
On Friday, we will be putting on a little performance for the wonderful seniors at our senior’s tea! We are going to be performing a classic spring time dance, the Chicken Dance! Students are asked to wear white or yellow on Friday. If you don’t have a shirt those colours, don’t panic! We have some extra yellow ones at school. We have been having a lot of fun practicing!
The class has continued to show an interest in more hands on messy play at centre time! I am wondering if there are any families that might be interested in making some play dough for our class for them to dig their hands into? Play-dough is fantastic for improving finger strength, dexterity, and hand-eye co-ordination! I am happy to provide a recipe if you don’t have a favourite one already, please let me know if you are able to help us out!
Over the last few weeks we have been learning about Growth Mindset. We have been watching the Katie and Mojo videos to spark conversations in the class. We are on chapter 4 this week. Here are the links to the first 3 chapters if you are interested in watching them!
