We all made shoes which were placed on the walls in the hallways by the Leadership students. We also created Marathon of Hope t-shirts.
This is our bulletin board by the Office.

Grade 1/2 Experiences at Rosser Elementary
During our first week back we rotated through five different classrooms doing lessons with five different teachers. In Mrs. Temple’s class we discussed and created our Friend Ship. It is on the bulletin board on the wall outside our classroom. A big thank you to the Grade Sevens who made the base ship and added on our sailor hats.
They were all SO happy to share their work with some older classes🙌🏻
A HUGE thank you to Ms. Branco (with Division 3) and Ms. Sansom (with Division 1) who accepted our invitation to see our hard work 💗💝💖
We set up in the downstairs corridor. Ms. Volpe and our daytime custodian, Ben, also appreciated the work and enthusiastically told the students how they felt.
We received 30 caterpillars (larvae) in our kit. These were all placed into their own containers with a food supply.
Then one caterpillar turned into its chrysalis and was put into the flight cage …
And then there were five …
And now, today, there are 25 in chrysalids!!!!!
24 of them successfully attached to their lids and are just ‘hanging around’, one is fully formed and sitting in the bottom of its cup on the floor of the flight cage.
We will wait and see what happens with this little fellow.
We now have 5 who are still in the caterpillar form.
Stay tuned for our next update …
