Good morning class! Here are your morning announcements brought to you by Division 9!

#1. Reading: 

  • RazKids: read 1-2 stories and complete the questions
  • MySciLearn: read a story
  • Epic Books: read for enjoyment after you have completed the rest of your work

#2. Writing: Today is the second to last day of school, what are you planning to do this summer? Listen to the story And Then Comes Summer by Tom Brenner. While you are listening to the story, think about the fun things you would like to do this summer. Using this sheet, make a list of all the things you plan to do this summer. Then, write a short paragraph about what you plan to do this summer. Writing Sheet Please upload your work to Teams. Here is my writing: 

   

#3. Math: 

  • Grade 2’s: Your assignment today is to use the information from the tallies to answer questions. On the second sheet, you will use the information in the tallies to create a bar graph.      Worksheets 1 & 2
  • Grade 3’s: Fractions read with one number on top (called the numerator) and  one number on the bottom (the denominator). The number on top shows how many parts you are going to use. The bottom number shows how many pieces there are in total. We read the top number as normal and read the bottom number as halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, and so on.
