Division 2 students are responsible for bringing their own school supplies. Every child needs to have their own. Students who do not bring supplies may not able to participate in activities or complete assignments. They often borrow from others making it difficult for others to participate. Please assist your child in being prepared.
Here is a list of needed items:
- several pencils
- a few pens
- a few erasers
- a fine liner
- a pair of scissors
- a calculator (basic)
- a geometry set
- a pencil sharpener
- duo tangs (about 10) or a binder
- lined and punched paper (150-250 sheets)
- pencil crayons
- felt pens
- glue sticks
- highlighting pens (two or three different colours)
I have some dictionaries, thesauruses and French-English dictionaries. We will try and make do with what I have. I will let you know if it becomes necessary for students to have their own.
Do your best to label items. How many of each item your child actually needs will depend on how carefully items are used and whether or not they are labelled.
I have a small supply of some items and can provide occasionally for a student who does not have something, but I cannot do this continuously.
