Use a letter size white sheet of paper with a large circle.
Use a protractor to divide the circle into equal parts and create regular polygons with 5 sides or more.
Use a compass, a ruler to create patterns in the polygon.
Darken (fineline) all lines. Colour all shapes created to make colour patterns so that the same colours do not touch. Use colours that create a nice overall effect.
Criteria:
- Lines and shapes are neat and carefully finished
- Shapes are coloured carefully
- Patterns and shapes reflect some creativity
- Shape and colour patterns work well together to create a good overall effect
