Sept 12 – Chapter 2.4 Notes on Exponent Rules part 1. There will be a quiz next class on Ch 2.1-2.4! Study the Mid-Unit Review.
Sept 16 – Chapter 2.5 Exponent Rules part 2
Sept 18 – Went over the quiz, did Scientific Notation Notes. Test coming in a week!
Sept 23 – Answers to the practice test. Next class we are doing the chapter 2 test and handing in all chapter 2 homework (see the list and organize it in order!). Be ready! Note that Scientific Notation and writing numbers as powers of ten will also be on the Chapter 2 test!
Sept 25 – Chapter test. Next, we’re moving on the chapter 3, rational numbers. You’ll find the notes in the next tab!
Sept 25/26 – We had the Powers quiz, and then marked it in class. Did Exponent Laws Part 2
Sept 27/28 – Went over homework, did the chessboard problem and scientific notation. Homework is to start the chapter 2 review.
Sept 29/Oct 2 – Chapter 2 Practice Test. Test will be next class, Oct 3/4. Hand in all homework on test day!
