Independent novel Reading.  Each Term for 7 weeks:  Read novels from the list of over 200 books and earn at least 10 points per week. Quizzes are available twice a week (Tue and Thu).  For book list and assessment see their black duotang and our class website: Subject–Reading.  TERM 1 independent novel reading runs from September 23 to November 12.

  • Due Tuesday, October 1st.  SOCIALS.  Learning At Home.  Ask parent to help you with this assignment.  This was assigned Thu Sep 26th.
  • Due Monday, October 7th. Get parent(s) to sign and comment on your Spelling Test.
  • Due Monday, October 7th.  CAREER.  Grade 7s present their tri-fold to the school.  OPEN HOUSE time is: 11:50 to 12:30 pm / all welcome!
  • Due Wednesday, October 9th.  Get parent to sign and comment on the white Coquitlam field trip of 10Q.
  • Due Wednesday, October 9th.  Get parent to sign and comment on the orange meet the Grade 7s self-reflection sheet.   This is for grade sevens only.
  • Due Thursday, Octobr 10th.  MATH.  Get parent(s) to sign and comment on your math Diagnostic Test.  Also show them my Teacher Demonstration which you were expected to copy while watching me solve the answers.
  • Due Friday, October 11.  MATH.  Word Problems.  Please use scratch paper first, and then do a good copy using the handout.  Do your best work.  You may get help!
  • Due Tuesday, October 15.  WRITING.  Please return to school your “I’m Thankful For” poem. Did you complete it with an illustration and some colour?  Show your parents your poem — they are so cute and funny!
  • Due Wednesday, October 16. SOCIALS.  Finish voting sheet of Terms. Try all 11 definitions.  Link is here…pages56,57,59.

  • Due Monday, September 23.  CAREER.  Bring your completed Grade 7 tri-fold board to school.  I will look it over and give you tips!  I can also offer more help if you need it.
  • Start collecting:  ART.  3 leaves that will not crumble; toilet paper rolls

  • Due Thursday.  WRITING.  If you have time tonight, work on getting your poem to rhyme.  Try using an online rhyming dictionary.  I’m Thankful poem.
