FRENCH:  Play the online interactive games found on our class website.  Watch the videos on our class website.  Thus far, colours, numbers, days of the week, months.

Independent novel Reading.  Each Term for 6 weeks:  Read novels from the list of over 200 books and earn at least 10 points per week. Quizzes are available twice a week (Mon and Thu).  For book list and assessment see their black duotang and our class website: Subject–Reading.  TERM 1 independent novel reading runs from October 2 to Thursday, November 19.  This program will restart right after Winter Break.

SOCIALS AND WRITING PROJECT:  “Earth Under Alien Rule“.  Write a story, journal or diary.  Type using the online program named Book Creator. Students cannot access Book Creator independently. Students must join a teacher’s library. Link is here.  Assigned on Tue Nov 3rd.  Due Monday, November 23rd.   See green duotang!

  • Due Tuesday, November 3rd.  SOCIALS.  Finish blue pages on WW2.
  • Due Thursday, November 5th. LA.  Blue pages of vocabulary on fable, fairy tale, myths, and legends.
  • Due Friday, November 5th.  HEALTH & CAREER.  Get parent to review and sign green paper on Is it Rude, Mean, or Bullying?
  • Due Friday, November 13.  SOCIALS.  Primary documents of pupil deaths at residential schools.

  • Assigned Friday, September 11.
  • Meet the Seniors (for grade 7s only).
  • Trifold should be finished no later than Thursday October 15
  • Presentation day is Friday October 16 in the afternoon (12:25 to 2:30)
  • Tri-fold is to be done at home

  • Due Friday, October 23.  WRITE RIGHT Week 5.  Do Friday Write Right for 30 minutes.
  • Due Tuesday, October 27.  SOCIALS.  Finish yellow workbook on The Indian Act.
  • Due Friday, October 30.  FAIRY TALES.  Finish page 2 only.
