dragon boating reflection

we went dragon boating it was amazing because i got to be on a some-what boat for the first time. i also got to pick the name for our group, our group name for dragon boating was ”tigers.” i really enjoyed holding water for some reason i just like to watch the mini waves.

i was surprised i thought that it would be scary and the boat would tip i guess not. beside the fear of the boat tipping over i loved all of it except when we had to walk there at like 30 degrees

Dragon boating Trip Refletion

Something I liked about the dragon boating field trip was when I entered the dragon boat for the first time I felt so exited to be going on the dragon boat and when we started to paddle for the time. Something I didn’t like was that we kept stopping and team aqua got in front of us but we got more info than team aqua and did more drills. There were two teams team tigers(witch team I was on) and team aqua witch I have already mentioned.

Something else I liked was that we did a race on the second day we were there. I didn’t boat on the third day because I was really sick but I took some good photo and see everyone boating through the binoculars. And also saw a great blue heron landing in the lilly pads. I also saw team aqua go through some lilly pads I think they drowned the lilly pads. Team aqua and team tigers near the end of the third day they combined in to aquatic tigers and went faster than they ever went before.

Geering Up

Today in class two people from Geering Up came into our class. We learned about forces. We saw this sign F=ma. Which means force, mass and I don’t remember what A means. We also made a car out of bottle cap wheels and straws and skewers and lots of other stuff. We were going to race them, but we didn’t have time.

“What is beautiful is good, and who is good will soon be beautiful.” —Sappho

This precept is a little complicated to explain so I’m going to try my best to explain what this precept means: First of all, a lot of people have the same idea about this precept, and I do to; First of all,: “What is beautiful is good, and who is good will soon be beautiful”, well that’s what it literally says.

This is a big part of the book “Wonder” because, in this book their is a character named August and his face, well lets just say that its not normal..You can call it deformed. But he has a good heart and he’s really nice to a lot of people. And the part of the precept that says: “who is good will soon be beautiful.” That kind of describes August’s situation.

Okay I know this isn’t perfect of isn’t really to the point but, I tried
