We had a blast predicting which liquid would slide down faster, we learned that thicker liquids move slower than thinner (more watery) liquids. It was so much fun chanting and cheering for which one was going to win!

We should try to eat all the colours of the rainbow!

Today we observed how ice melted in different types of liquids. We made predictions and explained our reasoning before conducting the experiment. We were surprised at the results!

Students are learning to predict, observe, and explain. Here they are predicting how many drops it will take to rain through their shaving cream cloud. Next, they observe what happens to see how their predictions are. And last, they begin to explain what they have observed.  

What do you notice? Why does oil and water not mix together?

Once our beans were ready to be planted we went outside! This was very tricky for us, and we have been working hard to nurse our bean plants back to life.

To go along with our pirate them, we created messages to ourselves in 10 years!
