Transforming into Pirates
Some of us were interested in creating maps during explorations, so Ms. Huckle decided it was time to go on a treasure hunt. Maps were created to look like the classroom and our jobs as her pirate crew was to find 5 different pieces of treasure by reading a map.
Ms. Manky’s Invitation Station
Ms. Manky created a fun invitation station for the students to investigate during explorations. They were able to use their sense of sight, touch, and smell with the chocolate play dough.
Science Made Fun
We had lots of fun becoming scientists! We explored colours and became a chemist to make candy and slime!
What Will Grow?
I had seeds left over from last year’s class and thought this would be a great opportunity to learn about plants, gardening and fruits & vegetables!
