As a class, we turned The Gruffalo into a play!
Here is what we did:
- got into our groups and picked our characters! (teachers made the groups, but the kids used their communication skills to decide who was going to play which role – they did great!)
- made our masks to match our characters
- learn what a script is, and highlighted our lines
- practiced, practiced and practiced
- On Ms. Manky’s last day we performed our play with her support and guidance
