Luna Journal Creations- Students have a new challenge with the Luna Journal. They are asked to create or build something at home and then bring it in to class to share with the students. So far we have had INCREDIBLE creations! I am so proud of the creative thinking and effort these students have put into their creations already! More to come!
Classroom Creativity- This is just a small sample of the incredible creativity this group of students continues to show during our Morning Choice time or while we explore a variety of topics, materials and activities during Explorations. I will start posting more of these creations moving forward!
HIP HOP! These students worked SO hard and were so focused and attentive during our hip hop sessions and I am proud of all of the students! Many had to overcome feeling shy, bashful, embarrassed or hesitant to participate and they were amazing! It takes a lot of courage to push yourself out of your comfort zone and these students rose to the occasion! I am extremely proud of this group! I hope you were able to come out and watch their performance!
Sports Gear Spirit Day– Students were invited to wear sports gear to school on Wednesday, February 7 to show school spirit! Many students chose to participate with jerseys, hats, scarves and other sports related clothing.
Noisy Reading continues to be a success with many families being able to spend 15 minutes in the classroom reading with their child and other students! It is such a wonderful time and I enjoy seeing families sharing in the love of reading together! It is amazing to also see other students welcomed in to read with other families!
