Welcome to my blog!

Hello Windsor Community!

What a wonderful community I have the pleasure of joining!  You have some very special traditions and wonderful “ways of being” here at Windsor. I’m loving getting to know each of you and learning about all the things that happen here.  The biggest event (so far), occurred last week when I found I was cooking turkey for all the members of the Annex!  WOW is all I can say.  It is something a person needs to experience in order to understand how amazing it was. Thank you to all of our potato peelers, cranberry sauce makers and stuffing mixers and everyone who helped make this an amazing and scrumptious meal for everyone! We are especially grateful to all our retired community members who came back to help us out!

On another note, to my students.  Welcome to this blog.  I hope that it can become a platform for communicating our ideas and understandings, as well as a launch site for your e-portfolios and google docs. Please take time to review blogging guidelines and always practice safe, caring and respectful language when using these tools.

Just to test it out, please tell me what makes the Windsor community special for you by clicking on the reply button and typing your response.

    Dear Mrs. Cramb:
The thing that makes Windsor special is:
    – Windsor has events that no other schools have (Pancakes Breakfast,
    Thanksgiving Feast, etc.)
    – Windsor has very kind students & teachers
    – Windsor has very fun school activities (Multisports, Breakfast Club, Volleyball, Basketball, etc.)
Windsor has many more reasons why it’s special but I am going to stop there. BYE! 🙂

    Dear Mrs. Cramb,
I think, what makes Windsor special is all the nice people in the school. For all I know, not many people do a Thanksgiving Feast in other schools and, I think, that’s nice of the staff to share food with us. Not a lot of schools have breakfast club at the morning. so, for kids who didn’t eat breakfast (or a good breakfast) can eat there.

Dear Mrs Cramb, Welcome to Windsor! There are plenty of things about Windsor, of course but I think the biggest thing about Windsor is the community. The community is awesome! ( Obviously ). The community is very nice! The help, the kindness, the education and the fun! And what do I mean by the community you may ask? The Burnaby district, including Windsor! I love going to school and seeing my friends, and that is why the community is awesome! Once again welcome to Windsor and I hope you have a wonderful year!
